more A Saros cycle spans 223 lunar months. Three make an Exeligmos: after 54 years a solar eclipse pops back to almost the same spot on Earth, loop de loop complete.
Videos in sandboxes now open natively, nicely enlarged, so your content gets its full-screen fling. And you can undo a deleted section, because what vanishes now and then deserves to reappear.
223.3.0 24 Mar
Even the Saros cycle isn't spot-on. After 223 lunar months, each repeat eclipse slides a smidge, about 120° west. Ancient astronomers kept tweaking their models, tiny fixes to keep forecasts crisp.
This update does the same: small tweaks, bug squashing and under-the-bonnet polish to keep things humming. No new features, just a neater orbit.
223.2.0 11 Mar
Ancient sky-watchers clocked that eclipses come back in cycles: 223 lunar months, roughly 18 years. They dubbed the beat a Saros, and used that star-timed cadence to call cosmic curtain calls with eerie accuracy.
This update brings that same knowable groove: make unlimited sandboxes free till 30 June 2026. Plus new comment views for cleaner, keener collaboration.
223.1.0 23 Feb
A lunar cycle takes 29 Earth days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.9 seconds. Every 223 cycles, Sun, Earth and Moon line up in a saros, used to predict eclipses. One eclipse is followed by a near twin a saros later.
Our Share extension has hit its own line-up. Pick unlimited photos and files, tweak each post before publishing, and slap colour, section or location on the lot in one go. Posts now publish in the order you picked.

22230 is a Harshad number — it’s divisible by the sum of its digits. We double-checked the maths. Big shout-out to the user who caught us wrongly claiming 22220 was a Harshad number.
This release keeps things shipshape: submission links now work per section, so sharing is bang on. Plus general bug fixes and performance tweaks to keep everything running smoothly.
222.3.0 23 Jan
22220 is a Harshad number — it gives in to (is divisible by) the sum of its digits.
This release is similarly yielding: bug fixes and tidy improvements that smooth away the rough edges.
222.2.0 9 Jan
Under US federal regulation 49 CFR § 222.1, trains must toot their horns at crossings — unless they’re in a designated quiet zone.
In 222.1 you get more control over the noise: GeoRSS, podcasts and RSS feeds; a Markdown view for your content; and overall speed improvements.
222.1.0 19/12/2025
222 is a decimal repdigit, a strobogrammatic number and a noncototient.
If you don’t know what any of that means, you can ask Siri. And with our latest update, you can also ask Siri to add photos, videos and other attachments to your Padlet.
222.0.0 03/12/2025
In Unicode, U+2211 is ∑ — the summation sign that sums things up. In this release, everything’s adding up (and adding up): a redesigned share panel with nimbler permission options; the ability to translate boards into nearly fifty languages; and a photo‑album attachment so you can pack multiple photos into one post. Sum up: more, together.
221.1.0 17/11/2025
Sherlock Holmes lived at 221B Baker Street, sleuthing with a hawk’s eye and saint‑like patience.
Not all of us possess such eyesight or patience. So we auto‑publish your post drafts while attachments upload — you needn’t hang about. Elementary.
221.0.0 28/10/2025
Draw all the diagonals of a regular decagon and you’ll create exactly 220 regions.
We’ve added undo and redo for deleted drafts and posts — handy whether you’ve misspelt “decagon” or just changed your mind. Emoji reactions let you respond instantly with whatever fits. Plus the usual bug fixes and improvements.
220.2.0 14/10/2025
Project 22010 is a fleet of Russian research vessels with sonar so sharp, they’d crack jokes with the crabs, and diving gear so deep, they’d tickle the Titanic. They’re all about spying on life’s secrets under the waves. Now we’ve kitted out Padlet with accessibility wonders that plunge beneath the interface, ensuring smooth sailing for everyone. Dive in—no snorkel required!
220.1.0 18/09/2025
220 and 284 are amicable numbers—a rare mathematical duo where each number’s factors add up to the other, like mathy best mates.
We’re rolling out features we hope you'll find just as amicable: a refined upload experience for hefty attachments, complete with notifications so you can watch your files’ journey. Now you’ll know exactly how each upload is progressing, keeping large-file sharing smooth and calm.

In the year 2192 CE, Earth will relish a rare cosmic line-up with Venus slipping across the Sun twice in one decade. Inspired by this double dip, we've aligned our own wonders: our new location picker pinpoints exactly where you fancy, with extra-sharp accuracy, while our accessibility tweaks ensure everyone glides around Padlet with total ease.
219.2.0 14/08/2025
In Unicode, character U+2191 is the up arrow: ↑
In release 219.1.0, we’re following the arrow upwards.
Custom fields are getting an upgrade—you can now assign posts to other collaborators, making teamwork easier and more organised.
219.1.0 01/08/2025
219 is the dialling code for Gary, Indiana—the birthplace of the Jackson 5 and their legendary harmonies that forged a musical monarchy. Like a finely tuned ensemble, these updates flow seamlessly: by popular demand, the Timeline board format has made its triumphant return. We now support phone number formatting, plus the activity panel reveals all posts—even if they hold only custom field content.
219.0.0 21/07/2025
In 2182, asteroid Bennu has a 1‑in‑2,700 chance of giving Earth a cosmic knock—it's the space rock most likely to rock our planet in the next 200 years. Following NASA’s lead by thinking centuries ahead, we’re gearing up for the future: whiteboard theme settings now have their own dedicated realm, accessibility tweaks make billing and notifications a doddle, plus we’ve squashed bugs to keep everything purring along nicely.
218.2.0 02/07/2025
Around 2181 BC, Egypt’s central authority had crumbled, leaving local governors to sort out solutions alone. Yet, in a twist worthy of the Sphinx, this creative chaos produced some of ancient Egypt’s most stunning art and literature.
Following their lead, we’ve fortified our foundations with discreet bug fixes and improvements, ensuring your creativity flows without interruption.
218.1.0 17/06/2025
218 is astatine’s steadiest isotope’s mass—so rare, Earth’s got less than an ounce hidden in its crust.
Like stumbling upon prized gems, we’ve dug up brilliant timeline tweaks: resize and reorder posts, then group them by section. We’ve also added Kazakh and Icelandic support, and polished the Contact Form’s accessibility.
218.0.0 05/06/2025
In “The Shining” by Stephen King, Room 217 is the haunted hotel room where supernatural goings-on unravelled, giving ordinary objects startlingly extraordinary abilities.
With release 217.0.0, we’re granting you similarly extraordinary powers: an “Add to Padlet board” menu, an expanded Options Panel, and crystal-clear SVG emojis. And thanks to bug fixes and accessibility enhancements, everything now operates with spine-tingling precision.
217.0.0 22/05/2025
Some ancient Greek philosophers considered 216 a mystical number (6³), believing it represented perfect cosmic harmony and the mathematical structure underlying reality.
We’ve orchestrated a harmony of improvements in this release: the Additional Options panel unifies important settings, and Attachment settings let you control allowed file types.
216.0.0 22/04/2025
Ancient records state that 215 BC was the year Emperor Qin commanded the construction of his mausoleum, which included the famous Terracotta Army.
We’re introducing our brand-new Table layout, perfect for neatly organising custom fields—like our new phone number and email fields—into rosters and directories. Additionally, we’ve added video trimming, significantly increased upload speeds, and sorted out plenty of bugs.
215.8.0 08/04/2025
In the Unicode Standard – which assigns a unique number to every character used in digital text – the code point U+2157 represents the fraction ⅗ (three-fifths).
• Enhanced our accessibility features to make Padlet simpler for everyone to use.
• Set a default card background in Sandbox to maintain a consistent appearance for all your posts.
• Bug Fixes & General Improvements
215.7.0 11/03/2025
To launch version 215.6, we took inspiration from the number 2156, a Harshad number that’s fully divisible by the sum of its digits—no pesky remainders in sight. Just as 2156 divides perfectly, our new update lets you seamlessly split your video recordings into neat segments with pause and resume.
Capture, refine, and share your moments exactly how you want!
215.6.0 26/02/2025
If you could count to 2155 non-stop, it would take you over 20 minutes! Thankfully, this update saves you time with new features to make Padlet even better.
• The newly redesigned Detail Panel is now available for everyone, making it easier to get to your important settings.
• Sharing from other apps to the Padlet Sandbox is now smoother with this latest fix.
215.5.0 04/02/2025
A Saros cycle spans 223 lunar months.
