Would’ve given it a half more if it stayed the way it was — useable for everyone EQUALLY. In my opinion, yes, the app is really easy to use, but the “Pro” feature ruined it. All of the new effects/filters/etc. are all available only for the users who have bought this “Pro” feature, but for the ones who don’t want to/can’t pay for these features? Even some of the most used effects that were free before are suddenly labeled as “Pro”? This is just absurd. I’ve been a CapCut user for a long time now, and I am disappointed. I can’t make a regular edit like always without the “Pro” labels being everywhere I go. Looking for effects? Filters? Animations? Get smacked in the face with 3/4 of them being accessible only for “Pro” users. At this point, this app is now just “Pay-to-win”. Why are the newer, cooler effects nowdays only available for the people who spend their money on apps like these? Hello? I can’t be the only person who is incredibly annoyed by all of this. I hope you understand how I feel.

CapCut used to be my favorite app for editing videos. It was simple, free, and had everything I needed. But now? Cool transitions, effects, text options—you name it. Now, every time I try to use something nice, I get hit with a “Premium” pop-up. I didn’t buy Premium, so I’m stuck either using basic stuff or trying to work around the paywalls. Watermarks Everywhere. If you’re using the free version, prepare to see that ugly watermark slapped on your edits. Like, what’s the point of making something creative if you’re just gonna advertise your app on it? Overpriced Premium. I get that apps need to make money, but the Premium subscription is ridiculous. For what? A few extra effects and removing watermarks? There are other apps out there that give you way more for less.Lag and Bugs. Oh, and let’s not ignore the fact that the app has gotten glitchy as hell. It crashes randomly, and sometimes the audio and video don’t even sync properly. If I’m paying for Premium (which I’m not), I’d expect the app to actually work smoothly. CapCut had so much potential, but now it’s just another app trying to milk its users for cash. If you’re not willing to pay, your options are super limited. And honestly, with all the bugs and overpriced features, I’m starting to look for better alternatives.

Yes, it was great. Yes, it’s still best editing app for mobile devices. Yes, there was good effects. UNTIL they added Pro subscription. After that, almost all good FX became paid. Plus they added annoying watermark. Time ago this app was completely free and I loved this app so much, but after some time CapCut devs suddenly wanted to earn some money and they did biggest mistake ever, by making app paid. Because without FX there is no reason to use this app. Everyone was using CapCut because there was great effects and it was free.NEVER install it and NEVER buy Pro. Don’t let these stinky money addicted people earn at least 1 cent!I just can’t understand why would they do this if this app was free for so long.
