I have observed that the full “ACTIVE CHAT-LIST Section” on messenger is no longer available as per the latest version of messenger. It is important for the active chats list to be visible to enable users see those that are active. Showing only few active chats above is not good enough. At times we want to chat with people we stopped seeing for long, so we used to go through our active chats to see them and chat with them. But nowadays, it’s not available. I am therefore suggesting that the ACTIVE CHAT LIST be brought back to messenger. Thanks….

We want to be able to sort out our messages by read and unread. There are some messages we skip and want to replay but we can’t because is somewhere within the messages list. It’s really important we be about to sort unread messages and sort by date as well.
We update our app regularly to make it even better for you to easily connect to the people that matter. Update to the latest version to get all the new features and improvements.
This release includes:
- Fixes for crashes within messaging experiences
- Performance improvements to remove latency in some of our core experiences
- iOS 26 support
