It’s been an hour on Reddit! I am neither a Insta, FB subscriber - WhatsApp is something I am trying to make logical sense off ! But this one’s a nice mix!! Well balanced - choose what you love! Amazing UI / UX! I’d say like the old saying goes ! You got it when you’ve Reddit! Reading is a habit most of our next Gen is loosing, giving them an option to tune their Video vs Literary intake is one for the future option! Scrolling thru Reels and Reels can make any human brain a dead duck! The brain needs function - Reddit gives you that in a fun way! Love you guys!! should have got here earlier ! Try it you won’t regret ReddIT !!

One-Star Review: Unacceptable Content and Notification PolicyAs a user who recently downloaded the Reddit app, I am extremely disappointed and frankly, disgusted, by the content I was exposed to through a notification. Within just a few days of installing the app and not even actively using it, I received a notification of a nude image. As a Muslim, this kind of content is strictly against my beliefs and deeply offensive.The fact that such explicit material can be pushed as a notification to a new, inactive user is completely unacceptable. It shows a severe lack of content control and a disregard for user sensitivities and varying cultural/religious backgrounds. This experience immediately forced me to delete the app and my account, as I cannot tolerate being exposed to such content.Reddit needs to drastically improve its content moderation and notification settings to prevent such offensive material from reaching users who do not wish to see it. This was a highly negative and intrusive experience, leading to my decision to uninstall the app and never return.

The new UI/UX for videos is irritating. 1. You have shifted the volume button to the right hand side which was earlier towards left side. Why make this change when you can put the new full screen mode button to the right where nothing was there before. 2. Swiping up on the video brings out random video instead of displaying the comments section. 3. I really wish the video scroll bar would appear in the home page itself like it used to before unlike how it is now i.e. going to full screen mode. This would save some extra clicks/swipes. 4. Video still continues to play by default when comments section is opened. This gets quite annoying at times.
