Excellent weather forecast, BUT...

The most detailed app with every weather aspect any user could imagine of. One thing that CERTAINLY needs to be redesigned, is when you want to use if just as an ordinary fast informing weather forecast. Then, there are other apps with bigger, easier to read and more informative graphics that take better advantage of the smartphone screen and show day and weekly weather in a glance eg “Wunderground” and “Καιρός XL”. When I need weather forecast in a glance I prefer these ones. Developers, I think that when the user taps on a day, it’s useless to keep more than half of the screen to keep showing the map. Tapping in a day means that the user wants to see the day or week forecast with details but with easier to read letters. So when tapping on a day the screen format should change in a user friendly screen, as on the apps previously mentioned. Besides this drawback “Windy” is overall an impressive weather app, I am happy to introduce to my friends.

Problem with Radar view on watch

Very good app overall. The addition of radar view for Apple Watch is potentially very useful, but it has two limiting issues: 1. A very large area is shown, it should be more focused around current location. 2. A big blue circle covers the current location, and together with the small map scale, makes it impossible to see what's happening around you, which is where you mostly need the radar data!

By far the best weather application on the App Store. After testing many apps i finally subscribe because of the graphics, the colors ,and the user interface. Everything is well designed. Please do not change the interface. The only thing that is missing is Live Activities on the lock screen. I wish it would be real in a future update!!!

There is no alternative if you require precise and dependable forecasting. Use it to plan my work in the open sea and it has absolutely never let me down. The ability to compare different forecast models is just brilliant.
