Let's begin with the obvious: this game is a "premium" version of the already existing Sonic Dash. The difference between them is the fact that the free version includes paid stuff and the Arcade version has none of that. And that's my main problem with the game. The fact that the game doesn't have microtransactions does not mean it doesn't have "predator" or just lazy ways of keeping players playing their games. For example, you can unlock every character for free. But you have to collect 500 tokens (which takes something like 2 hours of gameplay, if you are good enough) AND THEY`RE ONLY AVAILABLE AS EVENTS.You are on a vacation and can't log in? Or you had a really demanding week? Or you just don't feel like playing the game? Well, I'm sorry, but you will not unlock this character and will have to wait months (or year) untill they are available. Well, the game is more than one year old and they still didn't turn all characters of the game available. Nowadays, there is an especific issue (or intended game mechanic?) where two characters tokens appear at the same time - which makes the whole proccess I mentioned worse. I watched myself just logging in at especific days and see if the event character was new. If it was, I unlocked it. If it wasn't, I waited another week.In conclusion, if you are into an unpretensious gameplay or just want to play a casual game: go ahead. It is pretty basic for a autorunner. But if you want to actually complete the game or to have any sense of progression, I don't recommend it, since their decisions are based on "how to make players dedicate more hours in our repetitive game, even if we don't offer something really new or exciting".
