Moving files from folder to folder caused the file to disappear completely

Mostly I like this app (premium version). But today I went to move a file from one folder to another but the file disappeared and when I tried to look up stuff about restoring it said to go to the backup and restore option in the settings but then that says if you delete something in cm scanner it completely deletes it and doesn’t explain how to attempt to restore a file (given I definitely did not click delete I’d like to try). How can I attempt to restore? Surely moving one file from a folder to another should be super simple. If I’d realised this was going to happen I never would have tried as it’s a document I need to keep and is now seemingly gone forever.
Please, I kindly ask for a refund. I didn’t mean to purchase this.

I have been using CamScanner for work for about 2 years with no complaints. Until now. One of the new features is Recognize Text. I can appreciate that it is a handy feature but I don’t want to use it. Every page that I re-edit it wants me to use it. It changes from Image to Text and I would like there to be a way to disable this in the app. Please advise how this feature can be turned off if not needed. Also I can no longer swipe my finger over the pages I want to email, now I have to tap each one. Being able to swipe to highlight was a nifty feature but is now just that bit more time consuming.Thanks
