Block Blast changed my life by providing an unexpected outlet for relaxation and mental clarity. Block blast is an interesting game for its own reasons. Generally, the game requires you to place blocks down on a 8x8 grid and then make rows or columns to obtain points. Doing multiple lines in a row or at once earns more points. What I find funny about this game is how it’s so popular when that concept has existed already, such as the 10x10 versions with a different block selection you can also find on the app store. But the main three reasons I give block blast a low rating is first,y due to the high age rating and also the gameplay itself. Apparently, the age rating is caused due to some gambling or inappropriate content, which likely is caused due to ads displaying that content. Either that or the game has something to hide. The other problem is the gameplay itself. Often you end up getting blocks that just so happen to fit perfectly in one spot, until the game plans to screw you over in order to get you to watch an ad. The problem is that this coincidence occurs so often that it doesn’t seen like a coincidence. Essentially, it felt to me that it was the game who decided when to end your run and how many points you would get, not your skill, which takes away the general objective of the game. Also, the game seems to get updated every monday, wednesday and friday. WHY??? The frequent updates are very suspicious to me, because no other game does that. Therefore, I give block blast a poor rating.

This games has helped me with so many things such as boredom, anxiety and letting me relax while not getting my ears blasted off by the airplanes earbuds when I’m on the plane. I love how this game is wifi free so I can play just about anywhere. I played it at so many places including the Great Wall of china, the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben and Japan’s universal. The one thing that I somewhat dislike is how the rating is 18 plus like it’s just a game about putting blocks in order. I understand how some people might get upset when they see a gambling ad or get rage baited when trying to get a small block and end up getting the 3x3 square however in my opinion you can still get really high points like a lot of my friends who have tens of thousands of points. And for those who see gambling ads there, it’s better for the company to make the game better, sure those ads may be concerning but overall it’s a great game and I hope they lower the age restriction.

So when I first heard about the app, I found it boring, but I downloaded it anyway to see what will the hype was about, and I am glad I downloaded it. It is a great app for long road trips, anxiety and needing to pass the time, but there is a couple of things that I don’t like about the app first of all. When I heard about the app they said that there was this paintbrush in the corner of the home section, and you can change the colour of your blocks but I went to the home and it wasn’t there number two it give me blocks that no matter what I do, I can’t place them and number three it’s a copy of Tetris I heard about this app from someone else’s review, so the game is basically the same as Block Blast! a totally different, and the exact same at the same time, and number four The ad said that there would be no ads in this game but that is and that does annoying me a lot to but overall I do recommend you get the app it’s really good which makes me love it and I think you’ll love it so download Block Blast and one more thing if the creators of Block Blast see my message. I hope they fix the game and if these mistakes, weren’t there I definitely rate it, five stars
