This month, a collection of quality-of-life fixes gets piled up (like all your unread server channel notifications) to make up a big, Katamari-like update. There’s a bigger chunk of desktop-specific fixes over at dis.gd/PatchNotes, but we’ve plucked out some iOS- and mobile-specific fixes just for you below: - Fixed a bug that caused the app to take upwards of t w o m i n u t e s to launch following a full device restart. - Fixed a regression that prevented letting go of the Voice Message button from stopping your recording. It should work how it used to again. - Sorting Roles in Role Settings should now work properly again. - Fixed an iOS issue that caused message requests marked as spam not to render individual items properly; it would instead duplicate the first one and make it look like one person sent you a WHOLE LOT of DMs in a row. - For Voiceover users, Spoiler tags and announcements of dates and hours for sent messages are now supported. Now go and clear out those notifs before a load more start piling up that just say ‘@you hello ??’

We’ve fixed an issue that caused expanding an Activity’s Picture-in-Picture views to render as a fully blank screen instead. Picture? In Picture? How about NO picture. These other issues also no longer render (which, in these cases, is good actually). - We’ve moved the Browse Channels mobile experience out of beta! And by ‘officially moved out of beta’, we mean, uhhhhhh, we forgot it still had a beta tag on it. So we took that off. - Resolved issues with sharing certain file types through the iOS Share Sheet, where no message would be sent after the send was ‘‘‘‘confirmed’’’’ in the Share Sheet. - Fixed an issue that caused the iOS app not to handle .ogg files properly. An engineer working on this bug fairly questioned, ‘Who still uses .ogg files?’ But they diligently fixed the issue anyway. - Resolved an issue that could cause app data to be cleared by accident, forcing things to load in slooowly as we rebuilt the cache. - Patched up a bug that caused swiping on the Client Themes list to scroll comically fast. Like, warp speed fast. Whoops. Over at dis.gd/PatchNotes, we’ve got fixes from both December and January piled into one blog post. Fair warning if you check it out: it’s *a lot* this time.
