The app is flooded with useless effects, but totally has lack of basic functions that supposed to work. For instance, why after update I lost all my favorites effects I saved before? What’s the point for me to continue using this app, if I can’t make my workflow easier there by favoriting effects, presets and etc.? Why me, A PAID USER, have to struggle every time to fine the animation I saved before? Could someone tell me, why I have to struggle with vector shapes which cannot be altered with blend modes? Every kindergarten-made editor has this function, but CapCut doesn’t, even for PAID USERS? Also guys, why did you flood your app with tons of AI filters and effects, but basics like just SLIDE FROM LEFT I have to crawling through lots of useless and stupid effects and filters? I think this app doesn’t worth o be paid and used, if one considers himself as a professional creator.

What have you done to CapCut?!It used to be a great, convenient, and FREE app. Almost all the effects, transitions, fonts — everything was available and easy to use. Now? I open any category and it’s all locked behind that golden crown. At best, there are 1 or 2 free options, and the rest? “Get Pro.” Are you serious? Is this app now made only for rich people?Why turn a solid free editor into a greedy paywall machine? People come here to create, not to pay for every little thing. You could’ve at least left some of the original free tools — but no, everything’s gone. It doesn’t feel like CapCut anymore — more like PayCut. Pay for everything. I’m seriously disappointed. Never thought you’d ruin such a good app.Keep pushing everything behind a paywall and don’t be surprised when most of your users walk away. Not everyone’s going to pay for what used to be free. You still have a chance to fix this — before it’s too late.
