I have to start this review by thanking the customer service Reps that contacted me in the last 48 hours, Al Hareth and Mariam, these 2 have whatever it needs to provide a great service, Hareth owned my problem and as he promised he solved it for me in no time. I previously made a review regarding a bad experience and to be honest I was hopeless that my problem would be ever solved, but thankfully the team contacted me and solved it the way I wanted and even better … Thank you so much and this is the Great MBC we knew since ever :)

TBH I never liked Shahid. In the past, I used to watch the free TV shows online and everything works just fine. Two days ago I decided to watch Egyptian TV shows, unfortunately Shahid is the only app full of Egyptian TV shows. So, to watch these tv shows I have to sups for VIP which I did and sadly they’ve charged me for a month. After subscribing the app only worked once on my apple TV (IT USED TO WORK PERFECT AND FINE BEFORE PAYING ANYTHING) , it keeps showing dark screen with voice only. I tried to log out and log in again again and it still shows the same error, I’ve also tried to delete the app and re-install it hundreds times but it still shows the same error. The other cons thing about this app, in my phone it keeps logging off... WHYYYYYY !! So every time I open the app I have to write me log-in details . I swear this is the worst app I’ve ever seen, sadly the most famous app ( sounds like graphics) is bad for us as Muslims or I would have kept my subscribe in there. My advice to every one DO NO PAY FOR VIP keep watching freely and if you find anything attractive in the VIP, google it you'll find it for free.

I have subscribed in Shahid VIP hoping it would work. It only work on my mobile. Trying to watch it from my tv or using mirroring to watch it from the mobile to the TV doesn’t work either. They have done something so you can watch it except from the mobile.I called the customer care and after waiting for looooooooong time the agent picked and they said it’s the application and advised to uninstall he application from the TV and then in install it. I told the agent the application opens any movie or series prior to Ramadan but anything released in Ramadan, simply don’t work. I’m sure they have either changed they encoding or the player they are using or simply using crawlers hat doesn’t allow you to watch it in tV. The question is why !!!Wasted long time trying to reinstall on tv or update but all tries doesn’t work. Anything released recently (starting from Ramadan) only works on the mobile. Even when I tried to use the download option it doesn’t at seem to work. Such a retarded application. MBC should be ashamed having such bad quality application full of bugs or otherwise intentionally by its technical team.Note: to date I have received no feedback from the technical team as promised by the customer call center agent. Simply taking complains and not solving them doesn’t make a great experience. HORRRRRRIBLEEE and waste of time and money.

This can be frustrating for users who may be trying to multitask or do something else while watching a video.Moreover, the customer support for the app is not very helpful or professional. Despite your efforts to ask for assistance in fixing the issue, the response you received was not satisfactory. Rather than acknowledging the problem with the app, they suggested that you close the PiP from your phone's settings to fix the issue. This is not an acceptable solution, as it is not the responsibility of the user to fix the app's problems. It also implies that the app developers are not able to properly utilize the PiP feature and need to work on fixing their app instead.
